“Before having the peCOD our COD measurements last around 3 hours. The problem was that when it rains a lot the huge collecting pool below the plant is fulfilled in less than 3 hours. We did not have the time to verify if the water was polluted before it overflows. The risk was to have a polluted overflowing water rejected directly into nature. Now we can have a COD measurement within 15 minutes. So we can manage to empty the different pools on the site before it overflows if a pollution is detected. The risk of accidental pollution during storms has been reduced near to zero thanks to the peCOD. We chose the peCOD solution because it was cheaper than extend the pool size. We are also feeling more comfortable about not dealing with toxic chemicals anymore.”

“I have been operating a PC-Titrate system for the past 12 years and would recommend it. We replaced the 10 year old PC-Titrate with a new one in 2010 but even at that time the 10 year old system was still consistently producing reliable results without issue. The system is very reliable and requires very little other than standard maintenance, replacing electrode, changing fill solution, cleaning pumps, etc….
