MT-Series Automated Titration & Multi-Parameter Systems Offer More Efficient Sample Analysis

MANTECH strives to offer the most efficient automated titration and multi-parameter analysis systems for water and soil applications, while conforming to Standard Methods, EPA, and ISO Methods.  We are able to improve the efficiency of sample analysis by reducing the volume of required sample and decreasing the analysis time.  The following examples demonstrate the capability of the MT-Series system to complete multiple automated titrations on the same sample aliquot, resulting in less required sample volume and faster results.

Alkalinity and Chloride

Automated alkalinity and chloride applications can be combined, which allow an alkalinity titration to be immediately followed by a chloride titration.  As a result, the necessary sample volume is reduced by half, and the sample analysis time can also be decreased.  For additional information about running combined alkalinity and chloride analysis, please read the following application note: 119 – Alkalinity and Chloride by Titration.  For more details on each separate parameter, please read the respective application notes for alkalinity and chloride.

Alkalinity and Hardness

This dual-parameter application will perform alkalinity and hardness by potentiometric titration on a single sample aliquot.  By performing the titrations on the same sample, the required sample volume is reduced by half and the analysis time is improved.  For additional information on how to run back-to-back alkalinity and hardness, please read the application note 97 – Alkalinity and Hardness by Potentiometric Titration Using TRIS Buffer.  For more details on each separate parameter, please read the respective application notes for alkalinity and hardness.
