Scope and Application
This method determines the salinity value of water samples. It conforms to Standard Methods 2520B.
Method Summary
The conductivity of the sample is measured with a conductivity meter and the Salinity Value is calculated.
Method Performance
*This measuring range was determined by analyzing laboratory-prepared standards formulated from potassium chloride.
** The Method Detection Limit (MDL) was determined based on data obtaining a coefficient of variance better than 30%. Results may differ depending on laboratory practices and sample matrix.
